FirmPlus will automatically add corresponding asset categories to Plans when fund searches are performed or tickers are entered on the Fund Lineup screen.
If you need to add an asset category to your fund lineup, follow the steps below.
How to Add / Remove an Asset Category
- Click on the Plan Name from Plan Management. You will arrive on the Fund Lineup page.
- Click the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner. The menu will slide in from the left.
- In the menu click the Setup Toggle.
- Click Fund Evaluation and then Categories in the expanded menu.
- On the Categories screen, to add an asset category, check the box next to any asset category. To remove an asset category, un-check the box.
- Click Save to save your selections.
You cannot remove an asset category from a Plan if there is at least one fund in the asset category in any fund lineup for the Plan.
